A Word From Our Pastor

My Dear Origin Family,

As the circumstance surrounding COVID-19 continue to evolve, the well-being and safety of everyone in our church is a top priority. While we continue to serve the spiritual needs of our members remotely, our church will discontinue gathering at our facilities in cooperation with the recommendations of the World Health Organization and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to help limit the spread of this pandemic.

We remain committed to serving the continued spiritual nourishment of our members via various remote means such as live stream, teleconference, and video conferencing. As we remain in prayer, we will continue to monitor the developments of the virus closely in effort to keep our members and leadership team informed.

I love and miss all of you and can’t wait for us to gather at church again. Sabbath is such a special day for me. That first Sabbath we meet again when we can embrace each other again will be so beautiful.

These events teach us to appreciate one another and to want to be in God’s presence more often. This should teach us to be ready to tough times spiritually and financially. We need to put aside and not spend it all. This should also teach us to not get attached to anything of this earth that our destiny is heaven; to one day be with Jesus.

Do not hesitate to contact me or any member of our leadership team if you need anything. God is so merciful that He gives us little signs like these to wake us up. I love you all and miss you so much. I would like for our entire church to remain in prayer throughout this ordeal. May God have mercy on those hurting and that His purpose may be carried out in our lives.

Sincerely,
Juan Labrador
Senior Pastor
